For nearly two decades, I served as a Detective Sergeant in the Garda National Immigration Bureau, specialising in immigration law, enforcement, and international security operations. My work ranged from leading investigations and liaising with national security agencies to safeguarding visiting Heads of State during official visits. Based primarily at Dublin Airport, I directed security planning, crisis management, and immigration operations, gaining an insider’s understanding of Ireland’s legal and procedural landscape.
